HISTORY OF LAGUNA SHORES RESORT

THE DEVELOPERS / INVESTORS OF LAGUNA SHORES PURCHASED THE LAND THE RESORT IS LOCATED ON IN 1998 THROUGH A PRIVATE CONTRACT. THIS PURCHASE WAS FORMALIZED THOUGH A MASTER BANK TRUST IN 2003 WHICH ENABLED INDIVIDUAL BANK TRUSTS WHEN EACH LOT WAS SOLD. IN 2004 THE PERMIT TO BUILD WAS ATTAINED FOR THE MASTER PLANNED COMMUNITY. IN 2004 THE RESORT INFRASTRUCTURE INSTALLATION BEGAN. THE INVESTORS CONTINUED THEIR ONGOING DEVELOPMENT OF THE RESORT EVEN DURING THE ECONOMIC DEPRESSION IN PUERTO PEÑASCO LIKE OTHER DEVELOPMENTS.  TODAY THE RESORT BOASTS ONE OF THE BEST INFRASTRUCTURES WHICH INCLUDES, UNDERGROUND UTILITIES, DESALINATION WATER, TREATED SEWER, CFE POWER, FIBRE OPTIC WIFI INTERNET, PAVING STONE STREETS. THE AMENITIES AND ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE ARE NUMEROUS AND WELL MAINTAINED.
