Get your RCPM concert tickets today and get down to Rocky Point, Mexico

Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers will be live in concert once again right here in Rocky Point this weekend with Roger Clyne, band front man performing solo at Wrecked at the Reef, which is located at the far end of Sandy Beach (closer to Cholla Bay) to kick the weekend off. Well, the weekend will actually get kicked off at a bar in Scottsdale, Arizona, but Roger and a SRO crowd will be at Wrecked on January 25th. He will be joined by The Hickman-Dalton Gang, which takes the stage at 8:00 PM and Roger goes on at 9:15 PM. This venue is very intimate and has been wildly popular over the last few years so if you haven’t purchased your tickets, you need to do so right now. You may get lucky and find a few leftovers at the door, but why risk the chance of standing outside of Wrecked (or JJ’s Cantina) while all of your friends are inside having the time of their life? Go to their website at www.azpeacemakers.com to get your tickets online or RSVP them for will call.

Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers music is perhaps a little hard to define as their unique sound doesn’t fit into any “radio format”. Some describe it as country or country rock or southern rock or just rock and roll. Whatever you want to call it you will be snapping up CD’s by the end of the concert. Wrecked at the Reef isn’t the only venue that Roger Clyne will be playing this weekend. He and fellow band mates will be performing at their 6th Annual Jam at JJ’s Cantina in Cholla Bay. This very popular venue is a great way to experience the band for the first time and the concert is officially called January Jam VI at JJ’s Cantina. Once again, don’t risk not getting a ticket for this concert – go online now. As of today, there were still tickets left, but they were going fast.

Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers are no strangers to Rocky Point, having performed before at the Baja Cantina and at the Sunset Cantina when they first started concerts in Rocky Point. Plus they are frequent visitors to Rocky Point. Roger Clyne and his family own a home in Cholla Bay and enjoy the area very much and have even been spotted at some local charity events. These two venues – Wrecked on Sandy Beach and the JJ’s January Jam are fairly new venues with their big concert usually in June. After their summer concert is has become a tradition to meet the band, or part of the band, at JJ’s Cantina in Cholla Bay for a hangover party. Roger and the band would sign merchandise, meet and greet the crowd and even play a song or two. It is hard to believe it has been 12 years since their first concert here in Rocky Point, Mexico and the town thanks them very much for continuing to play down here and bring their many loyal fans.

Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers are not some small time band that just plays a few venues in Rocky Point – they play across the United States. Some of their concert venues this year include stops in Arizona, of course, Colorado, Georgia and Florida with more to be added as the year comes along. They have opened for headliners such as Kid Rock, Johnny Cash, Blues Traveler and more and have toured with Sammy Hagar and John Fogerty and they aren’t slowing down anytime soon. Don’t wait another minute – go secure your tickets and check out their merchandise goods – called Peacetime Goods and their Mexican Moonshine Tequila – it’s all on their website. They will also have merchandise for sale at both of their concerts this weekend. If you absolutely can’t make it down for this year’s January Jam then plan ahead for their June concert on Sandy Beach. And in the meantime, download their many CD’s and get familiar with their music. If you live in Arizona, check their website for dates in your area. See you this weekend at Wrecked at the Reef and JJ’s Cantina!
