Laguna Shores Resort Gets Christmas Food Hampers Ready
In less than one week, Laguna Shores Resort will host their annual Christmas Food Hamper Give-Away and they are planning on breaking last year’s record by handing out over 1,200 food hampers to needy families in Rocky Point, Mexico. This event has been made possible because of your donations to the program. In years past, Laguna Shores has given away hundreds and hundreds of bicycles, but two years they wanted to try something different since some families are still struggling through tough economic times. Two years ago was their first Christmas Food Hamper give-away and it was met with great success – once again – all because of your generous donations and the hard work of the staff in coordinating this massive event.
Though there is less than one week before the event on December 18th, 2012, donations are still being accepted – in any denomination. Obviously the more food hampers that can be given away means less people that go hungry and more that have a nice Christmas meal. But the food hampers are not for one day only: The food hampers are filled with rice and beans and other staples that will last the families more than just one meal.
To encourage donations for the Christmas Food Hamper, Laguna Shores Resort is giving away a 10-night vacation to anyone who donates $500 USD or more. Not only will you be helping to feed hungry families, you will also be treating yourself for a good deed done. Ten nights at Laguna Shores Resort, a master planned community on the Sea of Cortez, is worth way more than your donation, but it’s a great way to thank those who are extra generous. All donations are greatly appreciated and every one helps Laguna Shores Resort hand out more food hampers.
