Laguna Shores Resort Sponsors 2 Boxing Championships on August 17th 2013 here in Puerto Peñasco. One fight is a North American Championship and the other is an InterContinental Championship. The fight is being promoted by Jesus Soto of Promociones Soto, a local professional Boxing & Wrestling Promoter. This event includes 7 fights with two championships and thee professional debuts.

Javier “El Rebelde” Carrera fights Augusto “El Veneno” Gamez for the North American Championship while Linda “La Muneca” Soto fights Kareli Lopez for the Intercontinental Championship.

Boxing Fighters at the Laguna Shores Resort. Elihu Soto and David Benavidez are fighters from Phoeniz having their Grand Debut fight here as part of this event. These two fighter’s debuts are much anticipated because of the family backgrounds and their trainers. Elihu Soto has been a 4 times an US National Amateur champion and has numerous Arizona state championships. David’s brother has been a top prize fighter and many believe he will become the next world champ.
Luis Zarazua is coming from of Texas and is fighting Jesus Perez of Mexicali.
The fight will be held at the Chamizal Arena here is Puerto Peñasco on August 17th 2013.
