Laguna Shores Resort in Puerto Peñasco is one of those must-see-for-yourself locations in Rocky Point. The place has everything you could want: kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming in the stunning ocean just steps away. The restaurant is top-notch with its memorable staff, gourmet vegan options, and an amazing rooftop view. If all the pictures of the food doesn’t convince you we loved it, I don’t know what will! The rooms are super spacious and comfy, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Plus, it's just a quick 15-20 minute drive to the vibrant town, so you get the best of both relaxation and excitement. I cannot recommend it enough! My friends and I will definitely be back.

Ever since I visited Laguna Shores a couple months ago, I can’t stop thinking about going back! The location, rooms, amenities and services on the resort truly made my stay a 5 star experience. It was beautiful and I love all the seashells you can find on the beach. Awesome vibes, I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Laguna Shores.

Si tenes ganas de desconectarte del mundo, éste es el lugar...
No esperes estar en la playa si hay marea baja no existe el mar, se recorre uno o dos kilómetros, pero la atención y el servicio en el fraccionamiento es increíble

El lugar es agradable, estuvimos en un departamento muy confortable. Solo tuvimos algún problema con que se atoraba la lavadora. El lugar está un poco lejos de la zona urbana de Peñasco.

We came down for a small weekend vacation from Phoenix. The beach was beautiful. The resort was nice. There is a lot still under construction but that’s OK. It looks like it’s up-and-coming. The price was fantastic. The restaurant was hands-down one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in that area. And it was one of the safest resorts. I’ve been to down there. We will be back thank you for the hospitality!

I loved this place. Beautiful condo. Very clean! Even had a washer and dryer… so if you want to wash some clothes, make sure to take your favorite detergent. Housekeeping checks up on you every day. The staff starting from the front desk all the way to the staff at the pool are so friendly and helpful. Now I have to say, not everything was smooth with the appliances at the condo BUT, once it was addressed to Juan Carlos at the front desk, he made sure it was taken care of the same evening. We were there in May 2024 and the ocean wasn’t too close to us… lol we had to spend our days in the pool. But that was ok. Personally I don’t like ocean water, so we were just fine and well taken care of at the pool by the staff. From the security at the gate, main office, and poolside help everyone was very helpful and kind. The resort is great, has lots of amenities and family friendly. The only complaint I have is that it’s 15 minutes away from town but some people prefer that. Overall an awesome way to vacation here.

We have a timeshare here. This is how much we love being here. When we go, our plan is to veg out and do nothing. We are able to do this by the pool with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Temo is super! All of the staff in the sales office really try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Habitaciones: Tenemos 2 dormitorios. La nuestra está en el último piso y tiene una vista increíble. Tiene todo lo que necesitamos para nuestro viaje. Ya sea que estemos en el ático o simplemente en un apartamento normal de 2 dormitorios, hay mucho espacio. No hemos compartido nuestro ático, pero hemos alojado a 4 adultos y dos niños, el más pequeño de los dos, dos habitaciones, y todos estamos cómodos.
Seguridad: Hay guardias de seguridad por todas partes y hay una puerta de seguridad para entrar.
Posibilidad de caminar: El restaurante está cerca junto con la piscina y las bicicletas. Definitivamente puedes caminar hasta allí. No hay tiendas cerca, por lo que no hay tiendas accesibles a pie.
Comidas y bebidas: El restaurante tiene comida estupenda. El chef siempre está creando algo nuevo. Pude disfrutar de un taco de camarones rebozados junto a la piscina.

Got hotel around 2 PM. Check in time is at 4 PM. I was told if the room is ready before four I will get a text. we got some wristband to go to the pool area while we were waiting. I went back after four to check-in never got a text saying room was ready, however I will say great customer service from the Front Desk, the pool staff as well security personnel . Room was nice cleaned, TV and phone didn’t work I was offered another room, but after unpacking everything with decided to stay. Overall, it was a nice stay we enjoyed it good security. We felt very safe. The restaurant is pricey. My advice don’t get to the hotel before check in time which is at 4 PM.

Staff at the front office are very nice. We were greeted very nicely and treated great! The room was beautiful, loved every part of it:). So many free activities to enjoy, pool was amazing!.
Only thing I disliked was that we were offered free breakfast because it was our first time staying there, thought that was amazing. The next day when we were ready for breakfast we were taken to a sells men, I thought he would just take us to the restaurant then leave but NO! He sat with us at the table and started offering us a condo , he was the one that paid for the breakfast but was very uncomfortable, it was my husband’s birthday and I wanted to enjoy breakfast with him not have someone trying to get us to buy a condo! I tried telling him that we were not interested but went on and on , took 1 hour and a half of our day :/
Besides that everything else was great!

Amazing place to stay ideal for a night away from Phoenix. Area felt super safe. Sea comes in and out on a long half day cycle. Only waist deep for a mile out so great for children. Other than some slight improvements could be a 5* resort.

Me encantó el lugar, muy bonito y cuentan con muchísimas actividades en la playa, lo recomiendo muchísimo. Así como también todo es muy tranquilo y agradable.
Lo único malo es el check-in 4pm y check-out 10am.
