The Airbnb we got was amazing. The Resort was secured and had surveillance 24/7. However, the location was about 20 min from downtown. Also, the beach was not as nice as other beaches around the area. There was a restaurant and a convenience store on site.

Spend two nights. What you see on the webpage is that the condo rental is next to the beach area not what you get. I found out from the front office is to call the office direct and let them know exactly what you want because online booking gives you a different rental. Other than that it is a good quiet place to stay and get the high tide schedule. Excellent sunset.

This resort is AMAZING! We came for my daughters bday and they decorated the room for her!! We were shocked and amazed!! They staff was AMAZING!! They remembered my kids names and literally played with them. This was the most amazing resort I have ever been to and we WILL be back. The amenities are also great! We had soo much to do, we didnt have to leave the resort. We sang karaoke and enjoyed movie night while we watched the sunset. Words can't express how great this place is. Please, BOOK NOW!!

Laguna Shores Resort in Puerto Peñasco is one of those must-see-for-yourself locations in Rocky Point. The place has everything you could want: kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming in the stunning ocean just steps away. The restaurant is top-notch with its memorable staff, gourmet vegan options, and an amazing rooftop view. If all the pictures of the food doesn’t convince you we loved it, I don’t know what will! The rooms are super spacious and comfy, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Plus, it's just a quick 15-20 minute drive to the vibrant town, so you get the best of both relaxation and excitement. I cannot recommend it enough! My friends and I will definitely be back.

We took a chance on Laguna Shores Resort this Time around in Rocky Point. We had a bit of a hiccup at first with an a propane issue, so they had to disconnect the stove (oh darn now I can't cook while I'm on vacation, whatever will I do... lol). They had an awesome little George Foreman grill we threw on the deck when needed...||Laguna Shores, Never experienced anything like it. Every single employee we've met has been so great. From the minute you drive through the watchful eye at the security gate, until they ask you when you leave are you coming back????||The Infusion Restaurant here at Laguna Shores, Open every day. Its SO elegant, with its red and white linen. All the handsome waiters waiting by your side. The food was good and the presentation was beautiful! If this gets a little fancy, head upstairs to the rooftop bar for cold beers and the most beautiful Sunsets in Rocky Point.|Many nights we were the only ones there and they still treat you to the best service. We even had first class service for the super bowl! The steak nachos were delicious. ||We had visitors for a few days and they were also treated like close friends. We are all on a first name basis with this crew 💕 |The spacious clean state-of-the-art gym is great. The activities coordinators are on it. We all went out and rode bikes and played pickleball. Joined along in their stretch classes. I even saw them playing card games and activities with the kids.||It's a little ways from town but the nights are beautiful and you will not find a quieter place. We walked to the lagoon and my son's even went for a swim. We got to see a sea lion sit on the beach and wait for the tide to come in and off he swam!!!! Some days it may be a little Trek to town. These days we just hung out. Robert was on a quest to find out how far the tide had gone out. It's about a mile and a half one way. So after his 3-mile track as I sat on the beach, we went up to the restaurant had lunch, played a little nine-hole putt golf and sat at the VP pool.||The month we stayed just flew by, we will miss everyone. We will definitely visit Laguna Shores, Puerto Penasco again.

We were on a couples week and stayed in the hotel area at Laguna Shores. They have a variety of accommodations. We went in the off-season and were told well in advance that the main infinity pool was closed for renovation. Rooms were comfortable. Our deck had two chairs and a hot tub. The decks upstairs had a table and chairs. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The shower was late. The on-site restaurant "Infusion" was very good with a menu that, for our group, had something for everyone. The upper bar, with a commanding view of the wide tidal change at the north end of the Sea of Cortez, was a great spot for sunsets. The town of Puerto Penasco is available for tourist type shopping on the point past the Marina. Be prepared to either fend off the vendors or haggle to your hearts content. There is a grocery store on the way for essentials. We are planning on returning next year.

Beauty is on the eye of the beholder or something like that. For me it’s one of the best spots as we are a family of 7. In-laws and three kids. We all fit perfectly on one of the villas and the views are beautiful. The beach comes and goes (with the tide) and on low tide you can walk around with your kids picking up all kinds of shells and see wild life. This time around it was low tide so we walked around and it was cold so I wouldn’t have gotten in the water either. Wonderful spot to get away for a bit, and really peaceful.

The resort was very spacious and serene… The view of the ocean is unbeatable and is only a minute away!! My friends and I had a blast at the pool bar and they even have floaties you can take out on the ocean:) Everyone who worked there was very professional and polite, while also being very warm and welcoming. We came down for a small weekend vacation from Phoenix. The beach was beautiful. The resort was nice. There is a lot still under construction but that’s OK. It looks like it’s up-and-coming. The price was fantastic. The restaurant was hands-down one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in that area. And it was one of the safest resorts. I’ve been to down there. We will be back thank you for the hospitality!

I loved this place. Beautiful condo. Very clean! Even had washer and dryer… so if you want to wash some clothes, make sure to take you favorite detergent. Housekeeping checks up on you every day. The staff starting from the front desk all the way to the staff at the pool are so friendly and helpful. Now I have to say, not everything was smooth with the appliances at the condo BUT, once it was address to Juan Carlos at the front desk, he made sure it was taken care of the same evening. We were there in May 2024 and the ocean wasn’t to close to us… lol we had to spend our days in the pool. But that was ok. Personally I don’t like ocean water, so we were just fine and well taken care of at the pool by the staff. And even though they are doing construction in the location… it was silent very peaceful place.

From the security at the gate, main office, and poolside help everyone was very helpful and kind. The resort is great, has lots of amenities and family friendly. The only complaint I have is that it’s 15 minutes away from town but some people prefer that. Overall an awesome way to vacation here.

This place is beautiful. We recently stayed at a house we booked on Airbnb. There are guards at the entrance to only allow the guests and possibly visitors if approved by owner first. We did have issues of communication between the guards when our visitors arrived. We had already made sure to get approval from owner but our guests had to be gone by 10 p.m. that is the rules of the resort. We need to wear paper wristbands at all times and they don’t give you enough to put on a new one each day. The restaurant doesn’t have a lot of menu items but the food was good, just pricey! They have kayaks, mini golf equipment, life vests… etc. to use for all of the resort guests. Unfortunately the tide from the beach was so low during our stay that we couldn’t swim in the ocean. The water came up to our knees. The poolside bar was awesome, you have to swim up to it and the drinks were delicious. Only downside for us was that it’s about 20-25 minutes from the downtown Rocky Point attractions.

The rooms were clean and staff was great here. This place is a newer build and definitely supports a more modern look. It’s about 25 minutes to the Malecon strip from here. The pool and beach access are great and the section of beach is clean and sandy. The swim up pool overlooks the beach and has a swim up bar and grill. Easy to find with easy access to all the resort amenities. Internet seemed spotty at times but overall a good experience.

We have a timeshare here. This is how much we love being here. When we go, our plan is to veg out and do nothing. We are able to do this by the pool with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Temo is super! All of the staff in the sales office really try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

I love that this resort is so secure. It’s isolated enough to have a relaxing trip without the crazy party of rocky point. About 15 minutes into town so it’s perfect. The restaurant is delicious. The swim up pool is wonderful.

We stopped by Laguna Shores on our way to our resort. They offered a family clamming day, and it was awesome. So much fun. Everyone working at Laguna Shores is so friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we decided to do a tour and presentation with Abraham. We were treated to breakfast at their super nice restaurant Infusion. Get the walnut bread french toast, trust me!!! We were super surprised to see how much the resort had to offer. Kayaks, beach bikes, game room, a gym and a wonderful restaurant just a few of the amenities.... The units were beautiful and huge. The landscape and beach are beautiful. There are BBQ areas with tables, and each unit has a great outdoor patio seating area. Talk to Julia, she will hook you up. She is sweet and has the best customer service. If you're going anywhere near Laguna Shores, stop in and talk to Abraham, you will be glad to did....

10 years ago, we came here (2008). It was small and dinky compared to now, but still it remains a fantastic and RARE vacation spot. 10 years later, we're back (again, for the 6th time) and loving every bit of it all the more. The property is superbly kept up and clean. All the staff are friendly and very accommodating. It is a timeshare, but so worth it. We were excited to return and see all the new additions to the complex and hope that they are continually successful as they expand their oceanfront community. Just a piece of information that may be valuable...this resort is Canadian-owned with many Canadian & U.S. touches and influences to operations. Besides being in an above prime location, the care of patrons put forth by the resort is incredible. One feels dropped into luxury but away from the crowds and alone with nature and it's beauty. Will never give my business to any other resort in Puerto Peñasco. 👏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I cant wait to be back!!! Anytime I go to Rocky Point, it's the only place I stay. Its unlike any other place I've ever been in the world. The staff is wonderful, the amenities are on point, the sights are unbelievable and the security makes me want to spend forever at Laguna Shores!! Well I've lived here for over 8 years so I think it's the best! I love that the beach is mostly mine during the week and that the tide goes out so I can search for shells and interesting creatures. I have combed every inch of this beach for probably 14 miles all around the resort. Love the wildlife in the estuary and especially love the fact that the resort has kayaks and paddleboards that I can use whenever I want at no charge. The water is shallow for a long ways which is perfect for learning water sports. Mikky's Restaurant is a few feet away so I really never have to leave the property.

Five star resort. Reataurant open to public. Rentals of condos. Custom homes and beautiful beach is all you will find in this first class resort. A short 6 miles from sandy beach this resort is a hidden gem. Close to Rocky Point but far away to enjoy the night sky with zero light intrusion. Sourrounded by protected sanctuary this resort is in a setting like none other. Well worth a try to rent a condo and enjoy for yourself. Great to go menu as well!!

We went to the Laguna shores resort to eat at their newly opened restaurant 'Infusion'. It was a culinary delight. My hubby and I had had a late lunch so we decided to share our meal. We started with the Laguna Salad which consisted of lettuce, chard, goat cheese, beets, green apple and hibiscus vinaigrette. What a great combination of flavors that tickled the taste buds! We've then ordered the Catch of the Day which was Grouper and it was perfectly prepared and served on a bed of black eyed peas with corn and small pieces of bell peppers. It also came with perfectly steamed vegetables of zucchini spears and carrots along with sweet potato puree. Our taste buds were dancing with all the different burst of flavors this combination gave us. Victor and Joaqium provided us with excellent service. We personally thanked the chef in his large and well-equipped kitchen which has a large viewing window. We topped the meal off with a slice of Chocolate-type cake which contained a bit of Expresso, no flour and served with dollops of whipped cream and raspberry sauce...it was divine 😋. We also enjoyed a bottle of Argento Pinot Grigio from Argentina with hints of tropical fruits, slightly sweet and very smooth. Joaquim was happy to show us around. They have a very nice wine selection and a bar. Upstairs is a room that has glass walls about 2-3 feet from the roof to allow he ocean air the flow in. Outside the room is a balcony that goes around this room with groupings of chairs and sofas and tables so you may sit and enjoy the beautiful views. If you are interested you can buy a part-time apartment and have access to many discounts around the world hotels and all that stuff! You can use your apartment to do business and make some money or selling those promotions to other people! Think about it!

Have owned a condo on the lagoon for nearly 5 years. It is my favorite place to be. This gated and secured neighborhood l is on Cholla Bay and about 4 miles from Sandy Beach condos. High and low tides are extreme here and you may have water right outside your door and then 6 hours later it may be out so far that you almost can't see it. Long walks at low tide will reveal lots of beautiful shells. My favorite is the sand dollar. Mikkey's food is phenomenal, when weather is warm they serve poolside and beachside. Two pools both with swim up bars that are staffed during warm weather. Tons of activities to keep you busy or you can just lounge on the patio, by the pool, or on the beach. Game room, fitness room, and massage services available. Its mostly quiet here but special events and warm weather can make weekends more lively. The sunsets across the Baja and behind San Felipe are breathtaking.

Ten en cuenta que el resort está a media hora al norte de Puerto Peñasco. En realidad es un fraccionamiento de condominios. Por lo mismo que es un fraccionamiento, la playa te queda a 3 minutos en carro. A un lado de la recepción y el restaurante se encuentra la alberca con barra. A un lado hay un jacuzzi grande al aire libre. A unos pasos está la playa equipada con palapas y donde recostarte. Recuerda que en esa zona la marea es inestable, así es que es muy probable que tengas que caminar bastante para entrar al mar. La atención, desde que llegamos, fue magnífica; excepto en el restaurante (esa es otra historia y dejaré mi respectiva crítica). Todo es nuevo, así es que en las habitaciones encontrarás confort. Nos gustó que el condominio tenía su alberca privada, a unos pasos de nuestra habitación. El cuarto, a pesar de que no tenía frigobar ni cafetera, estaba equipado con internet de alta velocidad, cable y smartTV; pulcro, impecable, como para tener el perfecto descanso. El baño es amplio, con decorados modernos. El precio que pagamos fue muy pequeño, mediante una oferta, lo cual nos encantó.

Es un lugar demasiado hermoso, muy pacifico y extraordinariamente bonito. Ideal para la convivencia familiar y vacacionar de una manera rústica pero con todas las comodidades. El personal es atento y excelente, las instalaciones de lo mejor. La alberca y sta cómoda y el agua tibia, hay restaurante si no quieres cocinar en tu departamento. Hay que reservar con tiempo pues es un lugar exclusivo y muy solicitado. Hay turismo nacional e internacional. Puedes ir a la ciudad por víveres pues no hay tiendas cercanas.

Es un sitio privado estilo americano que se encuentra alejado de la ciudad, donde tienenes todo a la mano, restaurante, MiniMarket, área de recreación, playa, etc. Tiene condominios y departamentos a la venta y renta. Excelente atención por parte de todo el personal de recepción y restaurante, todos muy amables y serviciales. El chef que tienen prepara los platillos muy buenos y vistosos. El menú está un poco limitado pero muy gourmet y rico.

El lugar y el servicio es excelente. Nunca había ido a Puerto penasco, pero visitar este lugar fue una gran experiencia. Esta en una ubicación privilegiada. Vale la pena estar allí, todo el personal desde que entras hasta que sales son atentos, respetuosos y muy amables.

Cuando buscas ese momento especial o ese lugar perfecto para relajarte disfrutando de la naturaleza y el ambiente mezclado de una zona costera desértica, es aquí donde el atardecer a orillas del Mar y lejos de tanto ruido cotidiano empieza por borrar el nudo del stress debido a esa tranquilidad que te brinda el lugar , sumado a momentos de Spa, albercas, restaurant si así lo deseas . Si los llegan a invitar a desayunar al laguna shores vayan y escuchen las propuestas que tienen en venta de condominio la verdad me encantó la propuesta de aserse dueño de uno de los condos pero lamentablemente no tuve el suficiente capital para invertir me encantaron las instalaciones las albercas, el área recreativa muy tranquilo y privado especial si llevan niños pequeños tienen su propia playa para andar agusto sin que muchas personas estén serca se sienten seguros los niños también tiene su propio restaurante y bar por supuesto que cuentan con área para hacer una carnitas azada todo está muy bien y limpio también tiene un área especíal para masajes Espa pedicure y todo para que se sientan relajados
