The Best Pool in Town is at Laguna Shores Resort

You’re booked into one of Laguna Shores Resorts’ lovely condominiums for the weekend and have decided to hang around the resort, relax, maybe get a massage, and take advantage of the numerous other amenities Laguna Shores has to offer. One feature that seems to draw everyone to it is their 5,000 sq. ft. sparkling blue Trophy Pool. The pool itself has many features for adults and kids to enjoy. Adults will enjoy the built-in tiled chaise lounges, the large palapa pool bar and the Jacuzzi. The kids will be thrilled with the shallow wading pool, the swim under wood bridge, the negative edge and the sheer massive size of the pool. The swimming pool is so large that, no matter how many people are vacationing at Laguna Shores, there is always plenty of room for swimming, sunning or playing pool games.

The swimming pool is tiled with tiny tiles in hues of blue making the pool look tempting and refreshing all year long. The built in chaise lounges are also tiled and are an “S” shape to fit your body with a head rest at the top. The palapa pool bar is a swim-up bar with seats on the poolside. It’s always fun to swim up, order a drink and mingle with other vacationers with a variety of music playing in the background. Cool deck surrounds three sides of the pool (so your feet don’t get hot) as do shading palapas and chaise lounges that can be moved to sun or not to sun. Grab a chaise under the palapa and enjoy a good book. What a relaxing way to spend the afternoon. Food and beverage service is available poolside as well. You can order off the restaurant menu and have it delivered poolside. The front side of the pool is where the cabana beds are set up on the beach – also a great place to catch a respite from all the day’s activities or to escape the sun. Here on the beach there are also tables, chairs, lounges and more palapas adding more places to relax and enjoy the scenery. One thing to note is that you should always wear sun block when you are near, in or on the Sea of Cortez. The high salt content of the sea makes the skin burn faster so be prepared with a good blocker, hat and a cover-up if you burn easily. Laguna Shores Resort Trophy Pool is by far the best pool in Rocky Point, Mexico.
