Driving From Phoenix to Rocky Point, Mexico

Some of the best beaches are near the border and some are within driving distance from places like Phoenix! The driving directions from Phoenix to Rocky Point are pretty straight-forward. The driving distance is approximately 215 miles
Tourists usually prefer to take I 10 from Phoenix that connects to Route 85 exit. Stay on Route 85 and check out Gila Bend, then keep driving on 85 S until you reach Ajo. Ajo is the largest town before the border. It is a great spot to stop for refreshments, refueling, last minute currency exchange or shopping. Or you can keep going on 85 S till you reach the Arizona border at Lukeville.
Last but not least, you will have to cross the border, and you will have to deal with immigration formalities to enter Mexico. From here, stay to the left and take the route that takes you to Caborca. You might see intersections at various points, but just follow the signs that direct you to Puerto Penasco/Rocky Point. Just another 50 miles along this road and you will reach your destination!
